| Donald Trump puts an end to Obama's era amidst mexican goodwill |
Donald Trump will become today the new president of the United States of America (USA) after taking oath of office in Washington putting and end to Barack Obama's era. Outgoing president leaves office amidst a very disappointing balance dominated by his unability to take action in Syria leading to Russia's resurgence as a global superpower in various scenarios ranging from Syria to Ukraine, but also to the biggest moment of uncertainity in Europe from World War II due to an impressive and unprecedented flow of migrants overflowing Europe's frontiers, building fear, uncertainity and bigotry, threateing european institutions and countries through populism. During Obama's era there has been the worst speculative attacks against european economy and massive intelligence espionage from National Security Agence (NSA) against european countries, institutions and leaders. During Obama's era there have been an increase of drone killings and paradoxically during first afroamerican presidency a surge of racial injustice against afroamericans. With Obama's balance sincerely it's very difficult Donald Trump could do things worse. We'll see tomorrow...
Mexico has extradired drug warlord Joaquín Guzmán a.k.a El Chapo, Sinaloa cartel boss, to the United States amid United States transition of power. We must see this as a strong signal of goodwillness from Mexico towards Donald Trump amidst multiple political and economic controversies that could emerge between this two countries.
Ongoing Gambia's president, Adama Barrow, took oath of office yesterday in Senegal after outgoing president, Yahya Jammed, refusal to resign due to his unwilingness to conceed after last presidential election. Economic Organisation of Western African States (ECOWAS) threatened Jammeh with a military intervention to depose him if he doesn't conceed today at noon. If last mediation efforts fails senegalese troops will invade Gambia by ground and Nigeria and Ghana will take action by sea and air with the aim to capture Jammed forcing him to resign, It's an easy operation because probably it won't be much supporters ready to fight for Jammeh. This situation is a clear signal about increasing relevance of ECOWAS because it seems africans can solve his affairs without needing european or american help.
